The Namibia Rock and Surf Angling Association has called on beachgoers and anglers to respect and take care of the infrastructure it has installed at popular fishing spots along the Namibian coast. This follows an incident in which a group of beachgoers camped at Mile 8, north of Swakopmund, and allegedly uprooted a pole installed by the Rock and Surf Angling Association to create makeshift seating on the shore. BREAKING | At least 5 people died following a head on collision between a Quantam Bus and a Mazda 7 seater on the B1 road at Uuhama village in Oshikoto Region's Onyaanya Constituency. The accident happened around 09:00. Preliminary investigations show that the Quantam was travelling from Omuthiya while the Mazda was driving in the opposite direction.
