Shop Saturday Work continues on Locomotive 40. She is in the shop for her 1472-day boiler inspection while she is in the shop for her boiler inspection, we will be restoring he running gear and making repairs to her leaky tender. This video shows the teamwork that goes into preserving a 110-year-old locomotive. The crew is removing the steam piston from the locomotive. This work is happening in our 1907 machine shop.
