Staff attended a demo of tree injection equipment to help slow and stop some of our 200 – 300-year-old bur oaks from being killed by Bur Oak Blight and Two lined Chestnut borers. Injects are done every two years and if the Oak recovers injections can be stopped **note that the demo was done on an Ash tree and the spacing of the injectors is normally closer but this was for demonstration purposes only.
