After a lot of requests, finally here is a fiddle leaf fig (FLF) propagation video 😊 There are 2 ways to propagate a FLF: 1) Tip cutting or branch cutting - cut the top of the main stalk, or tip of a branch, if your plant has branches. You don't want the cutting to have more than 1-2 leaves if they are large, or 3-4 if they are small. You don't have to remove the whole leaves, you could also cut them in half. This is what I would recommend for very large leaves. Why? Because you want the cuttin

Ah, the wine glass method—a classy twist on propagation! Here's how to do it: 1. Prepare Your Cuttings: Trim your fiddle leaf fig stem cuttings, ensuring each cutting has at least one leaf and a node. 2. Let Your Cuttings Stand: Let cuttings stand for atleast 15 minutes, this step will prevent rotting. 3. Fill the Wine Glass: Fill a clean wine glass with water, ensuring that the nodes of your cuttings are submerged while the leaves remain above the waterline. 4. Place in Indirect Light: Position

This might hurt to hear but... If you want to give your Fiddle Leaf Fig its best shot at growing multiple new branches you have to cut EVERYTHING off. Here’s the recipe: Step 1: For the 3 waterings prior to the chop, use double the amount of Plant Food (1ml per gallon of water to 2 ml per gallon of water) each time you water. During the first watering you’ll also want to add Root Boost to the top of the soil. This friendly fungi will help your tree’s roots find all the moisture and nutrients. St

How to you get your Fiddle Leaf Fig to branch out? ➡️ CHOP IT ✂️And if that doesn’t work … chop it again 🤣🤣Before the big chop I’m air layering the top piece, this will help form roots before I cut it off Comment “BALL” & I’ll send you the link to these prop balls This is BY FAR the easiest way to propagate plants 🪴 it takes all the risk out from chopping the plant first & hoping it will work! You can also use plastic wrap but these prop balls are reusable and tend to hold up better.✨ How to

Notching is a technique used to encourage branching on a fiddle leaf fig without cutting off the top. ✂️🌿By making a small cut just above a leaf node, you can signal the plant to activate a dormant growth point and (hopefully!) grow a new branch. I also added cinnamon to the cut to help prevent infection and support healing. For more success with notching, try making several notches along the trunk—and go a bit wider. Wider notches are more likely to trigger new growth just below the cut. 🌱Hav
