#FossilFriday with one of the best fossils ever discovered! Meet #Camarasaurus aka CM 11338, a specimen number all sauropod lads rattle off the tongue at a moment’s notice. 🙂 Found at the Carnegie Quarry, aka Dinosaur National Monument’s famed wall, it was essentially complete, missing only a few tail vertebrae. The specimen was discovered in nearly this pose. Recalling my elation at a #Diplodocus I found, excavated, and prepared, I can only imagine the enormous high the folks working on it mus
