1985 Fiero GT promo – “World class sports car; a term not to be used lightly, but one we use proudly to describe the new Fiero GT. It’s motoring excitement as only Pontiac can deliver.” The GT’s appearance stemmed from the 1984 Fiero Indianapolis 500 Pace Car and included new Enduraflex front and rear fascias, rocker panel extensions, and an optional deck lid spoiler. For 1984, the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car was the all-new Pontiac Fiero. Two thousand Indy Fieros were sold, with all of them powered by the 2.5L four-cylinder engine making 92 horsepower.
