PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Cleanup is underway after a major snowstorm dropped more than a foot of snow across some spots, but health experts warn the conditions also raise the risk of hand trauma.

"We've probably been getting 25 or 30 calls a day," said the owner of Reed's Small Engine Repair in Bridgewater of the rush to fix snowblowers.
