Two weeks ago, one man was killed, and two others were injured in a shooting on Detroit's east side. Last month, a man was shot and killed in Inkster. Also in January, 19-year-old Cornelius Traves Murphy Jr. of Warren was found shot to death in Pontiac. A Pontiac man was charged in connection with the fatal shooting last week.

Man accused in Clinton Twp. fatal shooting charged

A 23-year-old man accused in the death of a woman in her Clinton Township home last week has been charged, officials said. Jeremiah Broady was arraigned Tuesday in 41B District Court in Clinton Township, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said.
